Three new platform features

Dot. vu 3 features updates

Our newest feature updates help you manage your projects better!

We have recently launched three new platform features that enable you to manage your projects more efficiently through the Dot.vu Editor.

You can now set an offline date and a redirect URL in advance to avoid losing traffic and PageRank once your project is no longer live. For example, you can determine a date when your Christmas Marketing Games will not be available for your customers to play because the season is over.

Go Offline Date

This feature allows you to set a date for your project to go automatically offline. This is how you do it:

1. Go into the Editor for your project

2. Open Page Settings

3. Open the Other tab

4. Click on the Go Offline Date setting

5. Select a time zone

6. Confirm the Enable offline date option

7. Select a date for your project to go offline

The Go Offline Date feature helps you manage your projects more efficiently. Moreover, you automate your tasks, save time, and avoid future mistakes. Learn more about the Go Offline Date feature in our help center article.

When Offline Redirect To

This feature allows you to redirect visitors when they land on a project that is offline. This is how you set an URL to redirect:

1. Go into the Editor for your project

2. Go to Page Settings

3. Open the Other tab

4. Type your redirect URL under When Offline Redirect To.

The When Offline Redirect To feature helps you avoid the loss of PageRank or the loss of traffic. Learn more about the When Offline Redirect To feature in our help center article.

Domain Settings

Domain Settings is an option to redirect to a URL every time a visitor lands on a page that is not found (404). Learn more about the Customer Domain Settings in our help center article.
